Towards Golden Indonesia 2045: Get a Full Funded Scholarship to China

Udayana University through the International Office (KUI) held a Socialization of the Masters Scholarship Program to Central South University (CSU) China at Udayana University Rectorate on Monday, June 30, 2025. The event was officially opened by the Expert Staff for Institutional Development of Udayana University Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Made Sucipta, ST, MT, IPM who in his speech expressed his hope that the participants who attended got useful knowledge for their future.

The information session shared by Rizky Wanaldi and Tegar Mukti Aji as representatives of PT QMB New Energy Materials which is a subsidiary of GEM Co., Ltd. based in China and engaged in urban mining and new energy materials. It was conveyed that PT QMB again opened a fully funded master's scholarship opportunity for Indonesian students in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), the Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP), and Central South University (CSU). This scholarship program is part of a joint commitment to support the development of Indonesia's Human Resources (HR), especially in facing the era of industrial downstreaming and welcoming the Golden Indonesia 2045.

This scholarship program has been running since 2019 and has succeeded in producing quality graduates who are now taking part in various strategic sectors, such as government, state-owned enterprises, private companies, and within GEM Co., Ltd. This year, registration is open for two batches at once, namely the 2nd and 5th batches, with three priority fields of study: Transportation Engineering (railway engineering), Economics and International Trade for non-ferrous metals, and Metallurgical Engineering (materials and chemistry).

All successful applicants will participate in a three-year program, which includes one year of lectures, three months of Chinese language classes, an internship program, and nine months of thesis preparation. The scholarship covers all study needs, including tuition fees, accommodation, living allowance, health insurance, research funds, and support for travel documents and visas.
