Udayana University and SingHealth Sign MoU to Strengthen Cooperation in the Health Sector
Denpasar – Udayana University officially established a strategic partnership with Singapore Health Services (SingHealth) Pte. Ltd. through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) held on Wednesday (June 11, 2025) at the Postgraduate Building of Udayana University, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The signing ceremony was attended by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. I Putu Gede Adiatmika, M.Kes, and from SingHealth by Professor Kennerth Kwak, Deputy Group CEO of SingHealth. The event was also witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and other officials.
The signing of the MoU marks the commitment of both institutions to strengthen collaboration, particularly in research as well as improving health services for patients, and in the fields of education, research, and human resource development in the health sector.
In his speech, Vice Rector Prof. Adiatmika stated that this cooperation is a strategic step to improve the quality of education and health services in Indonesia. “We believe that the synergy between Udayana University and SingHealth will open many new opportunities, both academically and in community service,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Kwak from SingHealth expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and emphasized their commitment to supporting the enhancement of health human resource capacity in Indonesia. “We see great potential in this partnership to exchange knowledge and experience to address global challenges in the health sector,” he stated.
With the signing of this MoU, it is hoped that Udayana University and SingHealth can develop concrete programs that positively impact the advancement of education and health services, not only in Bali but also at the national and international levels.
