In his remarks, the Rector of Udayana University expressed his appreciation for the interdisciplinary collaboration fostered by the forum — bridging psychiatry with cultural, spiritual, and technological approaches. Such interdisciplinary integration, he emphasized, represents the future of mental health scholarship and service: more holistic and humanistic.

He expressed hope that the event would serve as a venue for sharing cutting-edge knowledge, recent research findings, and opening up reflective and transformative dialogues among academic and clinical communities from various countries and cultural backgrounds.

On this occasion, the Rector also delivered an address as part of the Inauguration of Visiting Professor – Prof. Raju Lakshmana, an official agenda of the conference.

On behalf of the entire academic community of Udayana University, the Rector warmly welcomed Professor Raju and expressed great honor in his presence, acknowledging his long-standing contributions to psychiatric education, research, and cross-cultural collaboration.
