Furthermore, the Rector highlighted that universities today face various challenges, ranging from digital transformation, the internationalization of education, to active roles in addressing strategic national issues. This is particularly relevant as Udayana University is currently preparing to transition into a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH).

According to the Rector, this transformation presents opportunities for Udayana University to expand its international networks and strengthen the quality of the university’s Tri Dharma (Three Pillars of Higher Education: Education, Research, and Community Service). However, these opportunities also come with significant challenges that must be addressed.

“Behind these opportunities lie great challenges that we must face together. Therefore, visionary leadership is needed leadership that is collaborative and capable of fostering a productive work culture,” the Rector stated.

The Rector also invited all officials to collectively realize Udayana University not only as an institution that produces intelligent graduates, but also as one that produces individuals of character, integrity, and a strong commitment to sustainable development.
