Udayana University Holds Grand Opening of the 63rd Anniversary PORSENI

Jimbaran, September 7, 2025 – Udayana University officially launched the series of events for the 63rd Anniversary Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI) at the Widya Sabha Auditorium, Jimbaran Campus. This year’s event carries the theme "Carving New Hope, Reweaving the Svarupa of Udayana," reflecting a spirit of unity and renewed aspirations for the entire academic community.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Gusti Ngurah Alit Susanta Wirya, S.P., M.Agr. In his opening remarks, he expressed his appreciation to the university leadership, fellow vice rectors, the Head of UPO, the Chairpersons of the Student Representative Council (DPM), the Student Executive Boards (BEM/DPM) of the 13 faculties, and all parties who supported the organization of this event.

“This theme is not merely a phrase, but a new hope for the academic community of Udayana University. It is also an invitation to reweave the bonds of brotherhood among us all. I hope this year’s PORSENI will run smoothly without any friction among students, because in essence, we are one family—Udayana University,” he stated.

The Grand Opening of PORSENI serves as a significant moment to strengthen unity, channel talents, and uphold sportsmanship within the campus environment. It is also part of the larger celebration of Udayana University’s 63rd Anniversary, which will feature a variety of sports and arts competitions.

With the spirit of togetherness at its core, PORSENI 2025 is expected to be a platform for strengthening identity and solidarity among the academic community of Udayana University.
